Kenan joins CREDS as a research data manager, supporting researchers across Themes by developing tools and processes to ensure data is managed appropriately throughout its lifecycle.
Kenan brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at UCL, firstly as a health data scientist using electronic health records to better understand genetic and non-genetic risk factors for cardiovascular disorders at both national and international-scale. And more recently, taking up a key role of health data manager, curating datasets and developing algorithms on the health records of 50 million individuals in the UK and supporting researchers in over 40 projects.
Kenan has a background in Genetic Epidemiology (PhD, 2014).
