Eleanor has five years of professional experience in sustainable energy sector and is now a doctoral researcher at the Science Policy Research Unit, University of Sussex (SPRU), with a focus on energy demand and the digital society. Eleanor has worked as a Researcher at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) think tank where she carried out EU policy research, consulting the European Commission and Parliament on the shift towards low-carbon energy and the circular economy. In addition, Eleanor has provided advice to investors and developers of large renewable energy infrastructure projects in her capacity as a Renewable Energy Consultant at OST Energy.

Eleanor holds a Master of Science in Energy Policy for Sustainability at SPRU. Her thesis explored renewable energy deployment instruments to explain why policy decisions in the UK differ with other EU member states, incorporating research from transition theories and the political economy. Eleanor also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Economics from the University of Sussex.
