Jon Stenning

Project Researcher

Cambridge Econometrics

Jon is Head of Environment at Cambridge Econometrics, leading work on the socioeconomic implications of climate and energy policy. He specialises in distilling complex economic and econometric analysis into policy-relevant messages. He has led projects for NGOs and large-scale public sector organisations in the UK, Europe, the US and globally.

His work on CREDS FAIR looks at the potential impacts of different policy routes to decarbonising the UK economy, at the macro level but also upon different types of household across the country. His wider research interests include the economic impacts of decarbonisation pathways, distributional impacts of such policy, and the role of public policy in fomenting technological change such as is required for rapid decarbonisation of the economy.
