Stage 1 of project Distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) as a disrupter of retail markets is looking at what the social impacts might be of a move towards blockchain-enabled peer-to-peer energy trading. These flowcharts help visualise some of our initial thoughts on what sort of impacts we could see and how they could come about. You can click through the various sheets to see different broad classes of impact. The ‘Theories of Change’ are based on our own initial reading and engagement with expert stakeholders.
