The second weekend of the Climate Assembly UK saw CREDS presenters in panels covering all three groups.
Assembly members heard an introduction to issues around where our energy comes from. They then moved into three groups to hear detailed evidence on specific areas for reducing emissions, including the following presentations from members of CREDS:
- Group one: how we travel – Jillian Anable gave an introduction to surface transport.
- Group two: in the home – Nick Eyre outlined ways to reduce the amount of heat and electricity we use in the home.
- Group three: what we buy, and land use, food and farming – John Barrett discussed ways to reduce the amount we buy in the first place.
Presentations, videos and transcripts are available on the Climate Assembly UK website.
